Clogged gutters over time can rot fascia boards and make it easier for water to enter the property and cause damage to ceilings, windows, woodwork and walls. in the worst case, potentially cause thousands of pounds worth of damage. This is why Experts recommend cleaning out your gutters at least twice a year, ideally in the spring and again in the autumn. Keep in mind that if you live in an area that is heavily populated with trees, you may have to increase your annual gutter cleaning schedule to keep your gutters clear.
how we clean
Gutters have been cleaned for meany years using the techniques of a ladder and manually scraping the debri and moss from the gutter. Although this is performed correctly, & is absolutely safe to do so, The Work at Height Regulations 2005 states the hierarchy of measures to be put in place when conducting a task working at height to prevent injury from a fall. The first being to avoid when/where necessary the task being carried out at height. Here at Elite Roof and Exterior Cleaning, we are able to safely and efficiently clean all/most types of gutters from the ground using a 3000w 70lt Streamvac with a carbon fibre 60f reach poles, using several different head attachments. We can access every type of gutter, even the awkward ones as the Streamvac has it’s own abord CCTV camera allowing the operative to inspect and record before, during and after the clean. This footage can be viewed by the customer.
Facias and soffit are also cleaned from ground level again eliminating have to work at height, we able to achieve this by using light weight carbon-firbe water feed poles.
